Tell us a little about yourself..
My name is Matilda Djerf, I am 21 years old and live in a small town called Borås in Sweden - that is when I’m not traveling. I work full time as an influencer/model.. I will probably never get used to saying that haha. I’m lucky enough to live my dream life, I pinch myself in the arm a couple of times a week.
Where can we find you most weekends?
If I’ve been traveling and get home right before the weekend you will find me cuddled up in my apartment with my boyfriend and dog. Eating home made food and chocolate. Or at my favorite restaurant drinking non alcoholic drinks and snacking on olives. I love just being at home in between my hectic work schedule and all my traveling. It calms my soul and I’ve found it essential for being the best version of me both in work life and in my personal life.
Describe your ideal long weekend getaway..
I would pack a weekend bag with comfy summer clothes and drive 1.5 hours to our summer place on the coast of Sweden. The houses are small summer cottages and the beach is nearly empty. I would wake up in the morning from the sunlight and have no plans for the day - just relax, breathe in the sea breeze and lie on the sand dunes.
What are some of your favorite local spots?
Well I must say that we have really good restaurants in my home town. My go to place is a tapas place where they serve the best drinks together with pinchos. And Sweden is know for cafes and our ”fika”, I rarely say no to a new baked cinnamon roll.
Favourite outfit?
A summer dress with small heels and a cozy cardigan.

Definitely my pink hat (the Caribbean Crush)! I love the color and how it stands out, and looks good with any outfit.
What are you most excited about right now?
I am most excited about Swedish & European summer. The air just changes and everyone comes out of their shells. It’s such a different, vibrant vibe. And there is definitely something special about Swedish summer. The small summer villages, the ice cream cafes, the early morning dips in the sea.
Favourite book to curl up with?
Any romance novel, I love just getting lost in a book about love and all the clichés. Call me a hopeless romantic if you want haha!
When do you feel most like yourself?
When I’m near the sea.
