Weekends with Saasha Burns
Tell us a little about yourself
My name is Saasha Burns, I grew up in Melbourne and my husband Sammy and I moved to Byron Bay last summer. It’s absolute paradise and already feels like home. We’ve been renovating our new home in-between our travels and running two businesses. I’m the co-founder of BEAR, a modern Australian lifestyle brand, and Creative Director for BEAR Originals, a multi-disciplinary creative studio that specialises in brand strategy and content solutions for international and emerging brands.
Where can we find you most weekends?
When we aren’t travelling, Sammy and I love waking up at sunrise, making a coffee and taking our husky, Minnie, to the beach. We plan for the day ahead, discuss ideas for BEAR, and our upcoming travel plans. We’ll then head to our local farmers market for flowers, fresh fruit and veggies late morning. Afternoons, we will usually be working from home, before cooking a healthy meal and enjoying a vino, or catching up with friends.
